I’m not sure if you noticed, but we have all different levels in class. We have athletes, moms, dads, professionals, desk jockeys, military personnel, firefighters, grandmas, body builders, you name it we got. That said, you are all there to make yourself fitter, leaner, stronger, faster and most of all, healthier. So, when you hear 3, 2, 1 go! Please keep this in mind:

Form, Consistency, Intensity – Strive for excellence – FORM first, CONSISTENCY in mechanics, then INTENSITY – either faster or heavier or more complex movement. Even if you have an athletic background, you will need to learn proper mechanics first. Suck it up buttercup.

Be honest with yourself – It’s your workout, you paid for it, do not short cut a rep to win, get your chin over the bar EVERY time, chest to deck on your push ups, lock out overhead, because in the end, you’d only be cheating yourself.

You ARE fit enough to start CrossFit– you don’t need to get fit before you start…..CrossFit is scalable for all levels. Don’t put it off, start today.

We can make you strong but YOU need to change the way YOU eat – Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and NO sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.

Routine is the enemy – train morning, train evening, train 2 days in a row, or 5 maybe take an extra rest day. Mix it up! You also get to meet more members that way.

Take responsibility – we are here to educate you. We give it away at each class, mobility, stretching, hand care, proper form, nutrition, importance of rest/sleep, etc. Hear me now and listen to me later…..work your weaknesses!
