WOD Jan 27- Hopper Deck Day

Hopper Deck Day

Like the previous Hopper Deck sessions on we will be selecting a workout from the “Hopper Deck”. Everyone has to agree to the workout, otherwise it is 10 Burpees to draw another card.

If the next class wants to do the same workout as the previous one there is a 10 burpee buy in. Otherwise they can take a chance and draw their own card.

    Moreli drew “cindy” which was fine by us. (I guess its easy to agree on the first one when the alternative is 10 burpees! lol)

    Picked a new card at 9am as both classes before did “cindy”.

    Drew 10 – 1 Cleans with 200m run between rounds which was cool, so full cleans with 40kg.

    Evening classes both picked, I’ll let them tell you about it.

    Baseline: improved my old time by :13 seconds.

    Hmmmmm….. So today at the 5pm class we named a previously unnamed workout. From today onwards the following WOD shall be known as Graham. Now don’t let the name fool you into thinking Graham has reached hero status, more like the kind of status you give someone that can’t be trusted to pick a hopper deck card. So the workout as follows:

    5RFT

    Row 500m
    Run 400m ( a proper 400m )

    21min 19 sec

    (all jokes aside, a tough choice between this and burpees, and we all know much I bucking hate furpees! And plus, it’s not all Graham’s fault, none of us dare risked another even worse workout! Fun class! Good to blow the cobwebs away!)

    We played it safe with Cindy (7am) – SOME of ‘us’ were keen to pick another card, to spice things up a bit…but got overruled. :)

    used red band, pressups went on the first round haha. 10 rounds

    Pete be glad you weren’t there at 6:30pm. That’s all I’m going to say.

    Nice job by all the classes today. :-) Some tough choices were made but you all took after whatever workout came out.

    Sorry Pete, but I’ve never been much of a card player.

    Could’ve been worse (Burpees or Wallballs or both).
    And where did that extra 50m come from Matt?, that was the worst bit.
