MaD head to the US later this week to attend the CrossFit Games. For us, it is an opportunity to reconnect with the many friends we have made through CrossFit, as well as getting to watch an awesome sporting spectacle. Why should you care? CrossFit Aspire has some reasons we agree with right HERE.

While we are away the coaches and interns are stepping up to help make sure you get your weekly CrossFit hit. Please help them out where you can and enjoy the change of faces leading class.

We will be open for all normal classes except for Friday Jul 28 which will have morning sessions only. NO 5pm or 6:30pm Classes.

I hope you are enjoying this months body weight warm up. Make sure you change it up each day, it is designed to give you volume and variety. So pick a movement to change each day and keep it interesting.

Some events coming up:

Another Swim Skills Session at Naenae Pool, Sat Jul 28 from 9am to 11am – sign up at the gym. Once again this will be the only class running and will cover both skills and a workout. Hopefully with the water slide as an AMRAP finisher again.

Brooks 5k Run Series. Every Thursday evening from Aug 2 to Sept 6. HVMC presents 6 weeks of 5km races. Registration starts at 5:30pm each evening at the Petone Rugby League Club, 24 Marine Parade, Petone. More info HERE.

Oly Comp Intro Session will be Saturday August 4th at 10am. Be there or have someone take notes for you if you intend to lift at the In House Oly Comp on Sept 15th.
