Comments HERE from last year give an insight into how this event has impacted the lives of some of the MaD CrossFit community.
Gone but never forgotten, for those that paid the ultimate sacrifice you will be remembered. RIP
Really enjoyed today’s WOD. Thanks, MaD. I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday. I had just started my first semester at Univ of Texas and came home to my dorm after an 8 am class to find all the girls in my dorm huddled around the tv in the lounge. We didn’t leave that room all day. The video of the planes hitting the towers replayed over and over and it took a long time for it to sink it that what we were watching was real.
Thanks Matt and the Boys at 7am.
Words donβt really suffice for what happened that day 11 years ago. Remembering what others have suffered through and what others have selflessly sacrificed makes me feel so humble. I should remember more often.
My apologies as I cannot make it in today.
My thoughts go out to all who were lost and their families.
Good sessions this morning.
Big American presence at 6am, good to have a couple more US Marines in the gym, even if they were just visiting for the day.
Nice to see some of the guys crashing Jevan’s 7am Class. Good all boys session π
Then at 9am a good crew rocking out to Aerosmith.

great session
RIP
Good blow out today, thanks woodrow for talking me through that last 250m row.
The memories of that day have not faded for me. So many lives lost, so many lives changed.
Great work by all today.
Very humbling running tonight in the weather with Liam, not a word said on the last lap. Remembering no matter how shitty you think you got it, it could get alot worse.
Thanks Matt and 5pmers.
Great evening classes as well. Good work by the newbies, nice to see you already making gains

Like the terrible events that happened 11 years ago, this one will definitaly not be forgotten.
Cheers for running with me Daniel, such a fitting comment too.
Thanks Matt.
Thanks all. Great effort.
