New Programs for 2013

Group Running Classes

We offer a bi-weekly Running Class that is open to all MaD members and non-members on Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 6:00pm @ Petone Pier. The class focuses on proper running technique along with a running workout designed to develop and maximize our athlete’s endurance and anaerobic threshold.

Next session starts on Jan 8 – Feb 14 and will end with the AMI Round the Bays 7km fun run.  Register for the MaD Endurance Team HERE and register for Round the Bays HERE, Team name: MAD CROSSFIT ENDURANCE TEAM.

Starting Jan 8, we will meet at the Petone Pier at 6pm. You’ll have a MaD CrossFit Endurance certified coach there to run the session.

Each Session will be one hour, and include stretching, warm up, and drills for better running position. Over 6 weeks we’ll review nutrition both pre and post race, discuss injury prevention and ways to ease tight/sore muscles.

Space is limited, so please register and pay to secure your spot. You will also have weekend homework that you can do on your own to help improve your running technique.

Barbell Club – 6 week Olympic Weightlifting Program

Spend 6 weeks working on your Olympic Lifts. Hone your technique, set new PR’s and get more comfortable and confident with your Snatch and Clean and Jerk.

We will meet each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm for an hour long session. Then you will get homework for the rest of the week.

Open to MaD CrossFit members only, cost is $99 per person.

Spaces are limited to the first 8 to sign up. Minimum for the program to run is 4.

Get some one on one coaching, video analysis, personalised programming and watch your numbers improve.

Program starts Tuesday Jan 15.
