Bye bye Body Weight Warm Up, til we meet again….

A month of body weight warm ups is done and dusted. Those who followed the rules will have seen an increase in capacity with the exposure to both volume and variety for the movements targeted.

Push Ups

We are changing things up a little with push ups. No more scaling to your knees. We want you to work the negative and get stronger in the plank position. Scale reps accordingly and ask a coach for help if you need it. Watch the video from Mobility WOD  guru Kelly Starrett if you want to see why.

Petone Fair Sat Feb 16

Next Saturday is the annual Petone Fair. As well as the the Bring a Friend workout at 9am, we will be holding open gym from 10am to 4pm while the fair is running. Feel free to come in and make the most of the opportunity to workout , work on skills or just lift.

Warrior Dash

On Sat 16 March a bunch of us are headed up to take part in the Warrior Dash at QE Park Paraparumu. If you want to join in the fun all the details are HERE.
