Gymnasty #2

The second Gymnasty course starts on August 6th. Here is what Rose had to say about the first Gymnasty course.

“GymNasty is awesome. Whether you want to improve pullups, do a handstand, a forward roll…or just to go watch Coach Lou flip around the bar like a monkey (it’s impressive) you should totally do this.
You WILL improve. My hands haven’t ripped for the first time ever doing kipping pullups, and my strict pullups are starting to feel easier again.”

There is another postal comp coming up in September, check out the poster on the Barbell Club Board in the gym. This is a Body Weight Comp:

Individual event: Workout weights are calculated on participants bodyweight.

Three workouts over three weeks: workouts being released 0001hrs Saturday and last score to be submitted by 23.59hrs Sunday.

WODs released weekly for three weeks starting the weekend of 14/15th September. Scores must be submitted online.

Top 15 athletes invited to compete at a finals competition held at CrossFit Taurus on the 12th October.

Prizes for top 3 male and top 3 female athletes.
