10am til Noon. Not limited to lifting, you can work on your body weight skills or anything you like really. Don’t forget about Benchmark Training, still time to hit a “Girl”, “Games” or “Hero” workout. You can also use this time as an Open Gym Session, just make sure you have a plan.

BLUE DINOSAUR PALEO BAR AIR ASSAULT BIKE CHALLENGE

1 Minute to score max calories on the Air Assault Bike.

Top Male and Female scores will earn you a Blue Dinosaur Prize Pack, your name at the top of the leaderboard and bragging rights in the gym.

There will also be spot prizes up for grabs for anyone who attempts the challenge. Each attempt will give you a chance in the spot prize draw, the more attempts you make, the better your chance of a prize.

COST

$2 per attempt, you can pre purchase as many attempts as you want to. Attempts can be made during warm up and cool down sessions as well as any Open Gym or Sunday Strength Session times. Funds raised will go towards retaining our second Air Assault Bike with any extra $ being donated to charity.

A coach/intern must witness your score.

WHEN

Challenge will run from Jun 27 to Jul 3rd. Winners announced on the 4th of July.

Compete in 1 or compete in both…

The Functional Strength CrossFit Weightlifting Postal Competition is aimed at any CrossFitter at any level that is able to perform a Snatch + Clean & Jerk and/or Back Squat & Deadlift. This is a friendly competition based around participation.

The purpose of the Postal is to encourage more of a focus on Olympic Weightlifting and Strength to improve your CrossFit. This is an opportunity to compare yourself to other CrossFitters by bodyweight and challenge yourself to achieve new personal bests.

Division 1 – Olympic Total

Snatch + Clean & Jerk = Total

Placings by : Body Weight vs Weight lifted (IWF Sinclair formula)

Division 2 – Powerlift Total

Back Squat + Deadlift = Total

Placings by: Body Weight vs Weight lifted (IPF Wilks formula)
