MaD is sold!

We are happy to announce we have sold MaD CrossFit to Grant and Yasmine Slater. It has been a wild 11 years. Thank you all so much for your support and hard work. You made it easy to come to work each day.  The Slater’s will be taking over in December, Matt and I will still be around to help out with things.

The Christmas Partner Challenge will take place on December 21, Grant and Matt will share hosting duties and there will be a BBQ as usual. Please bring a dish to share, if you can’t do the workout, come by anyway and raise a glass to the new owners.

We look forward to seeing what Grant and Yasmine will bring to the community.  Here are a few words from them:

We’d like to express our thanks to Matt and Donna for all their mahi (work) over the years.  We’d like to thank them for providing all of us with a solid foundation of CrossFit skills, instilling a strong gym etiquette and providing us with a sound knowledge of weightlifting techniques and skills.  We are excited to build upon this knowledge and continue to grow and strengthen our CrossFit community.  We hope to catch up with everyone over the next few weeks, and if not, to see you on the 21st.  We wish Donna and Matt all the best for their future endeavours.

10am til 12pm. Not limited to lifting, you can work on your body weight skills or anything you like really. Don’t forget about Benchmark Training, still time to hit a “Girl”, “Games” or “Hero” workout. You can also use this time as an Open Gym Session, just make sure you have a plan.
