Free Intro Session

The free consultation is 30 minutes. What is a Free Intro?

  • We use our Free Intro session to learn about you, your past experiences with fitness and the things you enjoy doing.
  • We want to find out what your health and fitness goals are so we can help you find the best ways to reach them.
  • We will determine a baseline and together see how close you are to achieving your goals.
  • We will join you in creating a plan to meet your individual goals.
  • The primary purpose of the Free Intro is to determine how we can best help you.

Welcome to MaD Strength and Conditioning Gym!

We offer monthly memberships for group classes and specialty programs (Olympic Weightlifting, CrossFit Endurance and Nutrition) as well as private coaching.  For information on how to join the group classes or work with a personal coach, read on!

Here’s how to get started with our group classes:

Foundations $75

This one week-long, 3-session program will teach and familiarize you with the movements used in the group classes, introduce you to workouts of increasing intensity and difficulty, start you on the path toward nutrition that will support fitness and health, and get you to the point where you are ready to join group classes.

These are private sessions and we will book around your schedule. If you have a friend that wants to join too, you can book your foundations together. Maximum number participating will be 3.

After you finish our 3 small group Foundations sessions, providing you don’t require additional training, you can join as a member.

Jump Start

Already athletic? Have been CrossFitting for less than a year? Fit and experienced weightlifter? If group training is what you are looking for then your first stop is our Jump Start Program. Contact us for more information 021 266 4264 or email

Becoming a Member

After Foundations or Jump Start you can sign up as a member and come to any group class. You must sign up with ezidebit HERE and you can pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly. We ask for a 3 month minimum commitment, if you wish to cancel any time after that, we just need 30 days notice via email. Credit Card payments also accepted.

Additional Training

If you need additional training after Jump Start or Foundations, you can book private sessions until you are ready to join group sessions. This will be determined by both you and your coach.

Already doing CrossFit somewhere else?

Experienced CrossFitters (Regularly attending a CrossFit Affiliate for more than 6 months), can join our regular classes with a reference from their previous coach.  Please email to get yourself registered for your first class. If you CrossFit on your own or are new to CrossFit, you will need to attend a private session, costing $75, which will cover all the aspects of the Foundations Program and get you prepared for regular classes.
