Some changes are in store for the second cycle of our Strength Bias program. The press and front squats will swap days. This is to enable us to put a focus on Olympic lifting skills during the on Saturday morning session. The protocol on different days will be dictated, this should remove the temptation to “cherry pick”.

Other things remain the same:

– Good form is essential, some breakdown at heavy weight is acceptable but complete loss of form is not.

– If you hit a PR for weight or reps at weight, STOP, you are done with that for the day.

– The Met Cons should be heavy, scale up if required, but keep in mind the time limit.

– Don’t be stupid, if you are tired rest, if you are injured back off on the volume.
